It’s like an Escape Room meets The Amazing Race!

Combine the excitement of a scavenger hunt with the challenge of an escape room in our Outdoor Adventure Trails. Teams of 4–6 players will race through checkpoints, solving puzzles in a scenic outdoor setting. Perfect for team-building, family outings, or competitive group fun. Experience up to 2.5 hours of adventure for groups of all sizes!

Gold Rush Trail

On the Gold Rush Trail, you will be following in the footsteps of Joseph O’Malley who is leaving home for the first time in search of gold.  Even though he misses his family, he is eager to learn about searching for gold and he meets a few challenges along the way. Good for kids with adults.

The Pioneer Trail

The Pioneer Trail leads players on the route of a couple of early settlers as they make their way to the new land they will make into their homestead.  The couple meets up with several challenges along the way that players will help to solve. This trail is good for teens and adults.

Young Warrior Trail

Learn about this brave First Nations warrior as he spends his first days alone in the woods to prove that he’s now a man. Play games and remember Grandfather’s teachings to help survive on the trail. Designed for kids.

Great Bear Trail

The grandparent watches as their grandchild walks off into the woods for the first time and reminisces about the days they spent together as a youngster.  Solve puzzles and riddles as you discover a First Nation’s way of life in the 1800’s.  This trail is designed for adults and older teens.

Indoor Escape Rooms

Classic escape room fun with a twist!

Dive into the ultimate problem-solving experience in our Indoor Escape Rooms. With six unique themes to choose from, groups of 2 to 50 players can unlock hidden clues, solve intricate puzzles, and escape before the clock runs out. Whether for corporate team-building, birthday celebrations, or just a fun day out, our escape rooms offer unforgettable group entertainment.

ESCAPE ROOM DETAILS

We have 5 different Escape Rooms your players can choose from or you can let the Gamemaster choose the rooms for your group.

Before players start the escape room, we have a 3-5 minute movie to watch. The mini-movie will introduce the players to the goal of the game. 

Escape Rooms will begin 5 – 8 minutes apart from each other.

Moonshine May’s Jailbreak

Local moonshiner May Hill has just been ordered to jail for creating and selling alcohol for the folks of Peterborough county during prohibition. This time the judge said that the baby she was caring for should go to jail with her. Her gang are fixin’ to save baby Patrick and destroy the moonshine the Sheriff collected as evidence. While May and baby Patrick are in the courthouse, the gang must get into the Sheriff’s office and jail cell to find the evidence and destroy it.

Gold Digger Dan

Dan has the “Gold Fever” and all the locals knew it when he bought Butternut Gold Mine after it had long been emptied. That didn’t stop Dan. He kept claiming that he found more gold in the mine, just as the locals noticed that they were missing their gold items from their homes. We must go into the old mine and look for where Dan is hoarding the gold he is stealing. Careful in that mine, he claims to have it booby trapped.

Wizards & Dragons

All seems perfect at the Butternut Wizard Academy learning about spells, potions and all that it takes to become a true wizard. Out of nowhere a dragon appears and what’s worse is that he possesses the power of the dark arts. The professors are trying to hold him back, but what they really need is the dragon wand to be released. Hidden in the school, the dragon wand has had no purpose for hundreds of years but today it’s needed. It’s up to you to find where it is and release it from its box so that the professors have a chance against this dragon.

Mitten Scandal of Butternut

The town of Butternut has been losing their mittens! Everyone blames grumpy Jack. Frosty old Jack always complains about everyone else dressed so warmly while he walks around without mittens. He spends a lot of time in his workshop. We need to get into Jack’s workshop and look for where he stashed the town’s mittens.

Tactical Laser Tag

Play our exciting games of tactical laser tag. This isn’t your grandfather’s laser tag. Our state-of-the-art taggers are designed in a way that is much like playing a video game. Utility boxes restore health points. Tagger LED screen indicates life level, ammo amount and hit ratio. 

Players love the 7000 square foot indoor/outdoor arena for authentic action scenarios. Great for all ages. Those who wish to do less movement have a great time as a sniper. 

It’s the perfect activity for the competitive players.

For groups larger than 16 players, we divide the group into teams and do a round-robin play.

Yes, we have camping and cabins to rent. Stay with us and create a retreat. Tell us everything you would like to do and we can make a quote for you. Alternatively, let us set up a schedule of activities and games.
 

Cabins have solar lighting and a queen size bed with bedding. The cabins feature a campfire area, barbeque, table and seating. It is a rustic camping adventure with a comfortable bed to sleep in. 

Tents have cots, pillows and sleeping bags.
